Sports Café is located in the east zone of the exhibition building in Iran Mall. Two symmetric L-shaped skylights are constructed at the top of this space. A seismic separation joint exists between the two sides of these skylights, and for the sake of stability, the connection of the skylight structures to these separated adjacent buildings is inevitable. Considering the effects of adjacent structures’ seismic movements, corresponding support displacements were applied to connections in finite element analyses and used for the structural design of system.
